The Last Party.

So the exams ended on the 16th. Everyone went into party mode, knowing very well that this was going to be the LAST FUCKING party ever as one, big family. I was really happy, but at the same time, I was a little upset. The exchange was finally coming to an end. People were going to leave, and we all know how difficult it will be for us to ever see each other again.

The decontamination and movie room event came first. Being at Linandes, we were famous for having a silly “decontamination” room before we enter the building and a movie room.  Little did we know, those two rooms packed a lot of fond memories. So I decided a family portrait in those rooms would be the best way to remind us of those great Linandes times.

And then the unthinkable happened. We got stuck in the lift just before heading over to Du Port for the party. It was a funny experience. I guess it was fated and God wanted us to spend more time together. Thankfully, 3 sexy firemen saved our asses and we made it to the Du Port party in time.

It was quite comical to see everyone giggling so much and some people were crazily drunk. Well, I got really drunk and I spoke French. Iris spoke Spanish. We are still baffled at how we did it. I also slapped Damien a few times, and even cried. I think I was a little nuts. Nevertheless, everyone had a smashing good time. Just take a look at all the pictures on Facebook. I swear, my mother would disown me after seeing how crazy we partied that night.

So I partied the night away with everyone, and I started having flashbacks of the first time I met each and every one of them, or significant moments during the exchange. It was quite cute because I was actually smiling as I reminisce those special moments. Be it having coffee in Paris with Kristina and Irem, laughing so hard in class with my Russian girls Sabina and Irina, having my boy moments with Joseph, Gustav and Bryan, or doodling in class by drawing random penis party notes with Rianne, there was just so much to smile about. Let’s not forget about the amazing birthday in Paris with my dear Marie, Maryam and Alex.

Looking at all these pictures now makes me want to cry.

I’m going to miss all my dear friends when I’m back in Singapore. However, I should not cry because it is over. I should smile because it happened.
